You agree to applicable fees, commissions, gateway charges, and settlement terms as configured for your merchant account. Settlement timelines may vary based on bank processing windows, risk controls, and provider availability.

6. Merchant Responsibilities

• Provide accurate KYC/business information and keep it updated.
• Maintain records for transaction disputes, refunds, and audits.
• Respond to customer complaints and dispute requests in a timely manner.
• Ensure secure handling of customer and payment-related information.

7. Refunds, Reversals, and Chargebacks

You are responsible for managing refunds and chargeback processes associated with your transactions. We may hold, reverse, or adjust settlements where required by network rules, provider mandates, legal obligations, or fraud-risk assessments.

8. APIs, Webhooks, and Technical Use

You are responsible for secure API key usage, endpoint protection, and webhook signature validation. We may enforce rate limits, retries, and technical controls to preserve platform stability and security.

9. Data Protection and Privacy

We process data in accordance with applicable privacy laws and our internal security standards. You must only submit data necessary for processing and ensure lawful collection and use of customer information.

10. Intellectual Property

All platform software, branding, content, and technical materials are owned by Merchant Gateway or its licensors. These Terms grant a limited, non-exclusive right to use the services for approved business purposes.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we detect policy violations, legal non-compliance, elevated fraud risk, or misuse of services. You may discontinue use at any time, subject to pending financial or legal obligations.

12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Services are provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Merchant Gateway is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, business interruption, or data loss.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Updated versions become effective upon posting. Continued use of the services after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
